I just listed a great property in the Bostonia area of East County. Sadly the owners are forced to do a Short Sale as they owe way more on the home than it's worth and just like everyone else, money is too tight to try and hold on. Listed at $319,900 I expect many inquiries and likeley offers as well in the first few weeks as it was truly sad to list this home at such a low price. Down and out in San Diego?

Actually, things are looking much better for Sellers in the San Diego market compared to last fall. Rates are lower providing buyers with more buying power and investors are back and writing offers on anything that resembles a deal.

If you're looking for a break, now is a great time to refinance or buy a home if you are fortunate enough to qualify for a loan. If you already own a home and want to move up you really should be gearing up right now or you might miss the best opportunity in over 5 years to accomplish the move.
